I make it a point to go to the Wolf Ranch Farmers market for Microgreen salads on Saturdays. Only the best salad, they last so much longer than store bought and the taste is wonderful. If I’m not able to make it on Saturday… I can catch them at the Sun City Farmers market on Tuesday. Thank you guys for being here. I’m a supporter of local farmers.

I’m sooo happy to have discovered Mandalynn Farms! Weekly I get fresh microgreens salad and wheatgrass for my kitties. I love that the Microgreens stay fresh in the fridge for 2 weeks! I’m happy knowing they are locally and organically grown. The owners are friendly, helpful and delightful.. it’s a win-win.. I support a local family business and I get wonderful, fresh and healthy products.. 5 stars for sure!!

Wheatgrass - For Pets

Wheatgrass is known to contain a wide range of amino acids, vitamins, chlorophyll, enzymes, and fiber. The potential health benefits to consuming wheatgrass include antioxidants, organ cleansing, breath freshening, digestion support, help with constipation, odor control, energy boosting, and antiseptic properties.

Facts:

The reason most cats eat grass and then proceed to regurgitate is because it helps aid in their digestion. You see, cats lack certain enzymes that digest vegetable matter; so, the fibers in grass act as a cleanser for a cat’s stomach, pulling out matter that the feline may be struggling to digest such as hairballs. Sometimes, the cat may resist vomiting in order to cleanse their intestines, making the grass work as a natural laxative. In short, grass is not harmful to your cat. In fact, it is healthy for your cat to consume a fair amount of grass, and can especially benefit from consuming wheatgrass.

Nutrients:

Vitamin K, fiber, calcium, and iron
